The treatment
What is stem cell wrinkle reduction?
Wrinkles form as collagen and elastin fibres break down with age, sun exposure, stress and environmental damage. Stem cell wrinkle reduction delivers stem cell–derived signalling factors into the skin to restart that repair: new collagen and elastin are laid down, low-grade inflammation settles, and texture improves from within.
The result is a softer, fresher look without heavy fillers or surgery. It can be used on its own, or combined with microneedling, PRP or energy-based tightening for a stronger effect.
Candidates
Who it suits, and who should wait
Good candidates
- Fine lines around the eyes, mouth or forehead
- Early to moderate facial wrinkles and creases
- Anyone wanting a regenerative, non-surgical option
- Patients who prefer natural change over added volume
Postpone treatment if
- You are pregnant
- You have an active skin infection
- You tend to form keloid scars
- You have taken isotretinoin in the last 6 months
Results
Benefits patients often notice
Softer lines
Smoother texture and softer lines that build over several weeks.
Firmness & elasticity
More resilient skin as new collagen and elastin mature.
Even, brighter tone
A more uniform complexion with a healthy, rested glow.
Better with actives
Skin responds better to retinoids, peptides and energy-based devices.
Results vary between individuals. Multiple sessions are often recommended.

Options
Compared with Botox and fillers
The three treatments work on different causes of ageing, so they are often combined rather than chosen between.
| Stem cell regeneration | Botox | Hyaluronic filler | |
|---|---|---|---|
| How it works | Stimulates new collagen and elastin | Relaxes the muscles that crease skin | Replaces lost volume |
| Best for | Fine lines, texture, skin quality | Expression lines (frown, crow’s feet) | Deep folds, hollows |
| Onset | Gradual, 8–12+ weeks | About 3–14 days | Immediate |

Safety
Safety & recovery
- Screening first. Pregnancy, active infection, keloid tendency and recent isotretinoin use are checked at consultation.
- Downtime. Usually mild redness or swelling. Most patients return to their routine the next day.
- Timeline. An early glow within days; collagen-related change develops gradually from 8–12 weeks.
- Combined care. We coordinate with your own dermatologist or surgeon when treatments are combined.

Questions
Frequently asked questions
Is stem cell wrinkle reduction like Botox or fillers?
No. It is a regenerative treatment that rebuilds collagen and elastin. It can complement neuromodulators or fillers, but it is not a substitute for them.
How many sessions will I need?
Most patients start with 1–3 sessions and are reassessed at 8–12 weeks. Maintenance is planned individually, usually every 6–12 months.
How long is the downtime?
Expect mild redness or swelling for 24–48 hours. Most patients return to normal activities the next day.
Does it hurt?
Topical or local anaesthesia is used when needed, so most patients describe the sensation as mild to moderate.
Is it safe for darker skin tones?
Yes. Depth and technique are adjusted to minimise the risk of post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation (PIH).
Can I have it during a short stay in Seoul?
Yes. Assessment and initial treatment can be condensed for international patients. Book ahead via WhatsApp so the plan is ready when you arrive.
